A 13 foot tall hand-built ferro-concrete outdoor sculpture of a Maidu Family stands outside of the entrance to the Roseville, California Community Center. Florence, in collaboration with another artist, Tommie Moller, won the competition for this public sculpture. The sculpture was installed, dedicated and blessed by Maidu tribal elder, Hickey Murray in the fall of 1993.
